MK4 chassis offers an all-in-one upgrade solution for those who need to use any kind of WML\IR devices as well red-dot\LPVO scope with their AK\Saiga308\RPK without any modification to original rifle
MK4 chassis features MK1 handguard kit and an upper with integrated gas tube and a detachable MK3 chassis rear cover. All parts are made of high-strength aluminum alloy, with all core parts and fasteners made of steel.
Once mounted, chassis free floats barrel inside tubular handguard and allows optics to be mounted on a 1913-MIL-STD type monolithic rail on top of barrel and top cover extending from gas tube to end of shortened cover. front part of upper stays in place during disassembly of rifle for cleaning thus making no need to re-zero rifle after cleaning. Chassis allows buttstock to be fully folded for transportation of rifle and does not block iron sights. detachable rear part of top cover also features a 1913-MIL-STD rail for mounting non-zeroed optics (naginifier, etc.)
Once carbine is shot-out user can re-install chassis to next carbine in inventory.
MK4 chassis should be installed on rifle in accordance with installation manual.
