MK4 AKSU chassis offers an all-in-one upgrade solution for those who need to use any kind of WML\IR devices as well red-dot\LPVO scope with their AKS74-U.
Once mounted, chassis free floats barrel inside tubular handguard and allows optics to be mounted on a 1913-MIL-STD type monolithic rail on top of barrel and top cover extending from gas tube to end of shortened cover. front part of upper stays in place during disassembly of rifle for cleaning thus making no need to re-zero rifle after cleaning. Chassis allows buttstock to be fully folded for transportation of rifle and does not block iron sights. detachable rear part of top cover also features a 1913-MIL-STD rail for mounting non-zeroed optics (naginifier, etc.)
Once carbine is shot-out user can re-install chassis to next carbine in inventory.
MK4 AKSU chassis should be installed on rifle in accordance with installation manual.
